Airport Assistance Services

Fast Track Assistance

Arrange priority / fast-track passage through security and passport control / immigration where applicable; escort to the appropriate priority lane or the quickest compliant lane when a dedicated fast-track lane is not available.

Meet & Greet / Personal Escort

A named greeter meets you at the agreed point (curbside, arrivals hall or aircraft door/airbridge where permitted) and escorts you step-by-step through check-in, immigration, baggage reclaim, customs and to your onward transport or departure gate.

Lounge Access & Escorting

AirportAssist arranges or escorts passengers to verified lounges in the terminals (airline and independent lounges such as Plaza Premium and No.1 / Clubrooms where access is available under the passenger’s ticket, membership or pay-per-use entry).

VIP / Premium Concierge

Enhanced packages that include discreet routing, priority handling and private-terminal or VIP-suite access where available (for example, Heathrow’s The Windsor by Heathrow private/VIP facility). These packages may include bespoke timing from car door to aircraft door and additional curated services.

Families & Reduced-Mobility Support

Wheelchair/buggy coordination, stroller and car-seat handling, paced escorting through formalities, and help finding lifts/shorter walking routes between terminal areas. Pre-requesting assistance is recommended.

Porter & Baggage Handling Coordination

Coordinate porters/trolleys for help moving luggage between the vehicle, check-in and baggage reclaim; oversee bag counts and special-handling items. (Note: some porter/trolley services at Heathrow have separate pricing/airport charges.)

Transit & Connection Assistance

Guidance and escort for transfers between terminals (including the T2↔T3 walking link, shuttle links to T4, and rail/underground access to T5), advice on whether bags are checked through, and the sequence of security/immigration to follow on connecting itineraries.

Flight Monitoring & Coordination

Continuous flight monitoring (gate changes, delays) and dynamic route adjustment so escorts move you to the correct gate on time.

Layover & Connection Guidance

  • Confirm terminals in advance. Heathrow’s terminals (T2/T3/T4/T5) serve different airlines and alliances; confirm arrival and departure terminals before travel.
  • T2–T3 transfer: Terminals 2 and 3 are linked by a covered pedestrian route and share a central rail/Underground station; walking between them typically takes about 10 minutes at a normal pace. AirportAssist can provide porter help and pace the transfer.
  • T4 and T5 transfers: Terminal 4 uses shuttle/road links and sits south of the main complex; Terminal 5 has its own rail station (Heathrow Express / Elizabeth line connections) and dedicated road access. Transfers to/from T4/T5 generally take longer; plan extra time or use AirportAssist to coordinate the fastest route.
  • Allow extra time for security & passport checks. Security and UK Border queues swell at morning and evening peaks; fast-track plus escorting can save significant queue time.
  • Visa/entry rules for leaving the airport. If you plan to leave the airport during a layover, check UK entry/visa rules (UK Government visa checker). Separate tickets may require clearing immigration and re-checking baggage.
  • Treat 90 minutes as a realistic minimum for terminal changes. Official minimums exist but real-world conditions mean 90 minutes is a typical tight lower bound for terminal changes; 2 hours or more is preferable. AirportAssist plus fast-track is recommended for connections under 90–120 minutes.
  • Heathrow Express timing for optional city trips. If you plan a short trip to central London, the Heathrow Express runs ≈15 minutes from Heathrow Central to London Paddington (an extra 6 minutes to T5), making a short loop feasible if visa/entry rules allow.
